QUEST Tutorials for Gifted and Talented Students,
The QUEST Tutorials
The Mathematics, The Sciences, The Humanities
An opportunity to focus creative energies and passions for learning to achieve excellence, the
QUEST tutorials are one of the most anticipated events in the National education calendar. In order
to prepare the approach to complex content and advanced skills the QUEST Tutorials provide an
ideal opportunity for learning motivated by the potential for outstanding achievements. Over the two
days, the following topics will be explored:
The Mathematics: Vectors and Complex Numbers: The Matrix of the World Around Us
The Sciences: Neuroscience in Medicine
The Humanities: The Art of Logic: An Introduction to Argumentation Theory
Equipped with the knowledge and skills provided by QUEST Tutorials, the students will stand ready
to display their creativity, problem solving and love of learning in other upcoming BRAINways events.
The QUEST Tutorials are developed and presented by BRAINways EDUCATION.
Program Dates: October 10th and October 11th
Program Times: 9.00am – 2.30pm (please arrive 15 minutes early for registration)
Place: University of Tasmania – Newnham Campus, Launceston

Cost: $87/day or $157/two days
