The Royal Society of Tasmania (RST) is delighted to offer teachers and students two exciting opportunities to engage with the fascinating world of dinosaurs as part of its 175th celebrations.
The Royal Society is presenting, in partnership with TMAG, the Dinosaur rEvolution: Secrets of Survival exhibition opening on 7 December at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery.
TMAG’s galleries will be transformed into an amazing exhibition exploring the ancient world of the dinosaurs. Students will experience life-sized animatronic models, learn about the amazing creatures recently discovered in the icy Antarctic, and uncover Tasmania’s fascinating dinosaur links.
The exhibition features the latest scientific evidence about dinosaurs. How did dinosaurs evolve? What were their secrets of survival? And do they still exist today? These are some of the questions students can explore at the exhibition.
Tickets are on sale now via the TMAG website, tmag.tas.gov.au
