Jan Hunt

Jan is a secondary English/HASS teacher who has also been a primary school teacher. She has always had particular interest in the education of gifted children. From 1989-1990 She was state co-ordinator of Gifted Education with the Tasmanian Education Department and in 1997 Co-ordinator of Gifted Education in the Hartz District. In 2016 Jan received a Hardie Fellowship to travel and study in the United States looking at provision for gifted students in a range of schools as well as undertaking  units of study at Colombia University and Harvard. She presently teaches Year 7 and Year 10 at Ogilvie High School.
