UWC Scholarships For Years 10 /11 Students Now Open
Closing Date: 01 Feb 2019
UWC (United World Colleges) is a global educational movement that brings together students from over 80 nations to live together and study at one of 17 campuses around the world.
The colleges share a common mission: to make education a force for peace and sustainability by fostering understanding and cooperation among tomorrow’s citizens and leaders.
Students undertaking their final school years at a UWC campus will study for a two year, pre university International Baccalaureate (IB) while contributing to community projects that benefit the local areas.
This year, UWC Australia will offer a mix of full and partial scholarships and unfunded places for students to study at a United World College. Candidates are selected on a broad range of criteria including academic merit, community involvement and suitability as ambassadors for Australia.
In 2019, places are available at our colleges in India, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Wales, Thailand, Costa Rica, Hong Kong and Swaziland.
